Last year, Councillor Parrish initiated the MyMalton project. The overall goal of the project was to identify actions and review planning policies that will lead to the revitalization of the Malton community and result in positive impacts on the quality of life for its residents.
Phase one of the project involved community engagement and is nearing completion. Throughout 2015 you attended MyMalton visioning sessions, workshops and walking tours, and told us about the qualities of Malton that you enjoy and appreciate, as well as the aspects that you feel would benefit from changes and improvement. Your input has formed the basis for a vision and a set of priority principles which will guide future community improvements. Conceptual key moves have been developed to inspire possible physical changes. Additional initiatives have been outlined to suggest land use policy changes and provide guidance for additional studies or actions.
Please join us for the presentation of the final MyMalton Community Vision on Monday, April 11th, 2016 at 7:00pm, in the Mississauga Civic Centre Council Chambers, 300 City Centre Drive.
Thank you for making the community engagement phase of the MyMalton project successful, giving your time and valuable input.
