Starting April 2018, in addition to television and radio, emergency alerts will also be sent to compatible cell phones on LTE networks. This will allow you to take the necessary precautions to protect yourself, your family, property and environment. Alert Ready is part of a national service designed to deliver critical and potentially life-saving emergency alert messages to Canadians.
