The theme of 2021 Milk Fund event was DOWNTOWN ABBEY (a little play on words!)
The event was held in September at Harding Waterfront Estate in an outdoor glass pavilion, hosting 160 guests (a smaller number than usual due to COVID best practices) came together to raise funds for community food banks all over the City. This money was then used for the purchase of milk, eggs and fresh vegetables for those in need.
Violinist Grenville Pinto entertained before dinner and The Toronto All Star Big Band wowed our guests after the meal. The evening ended, as always, with a fireworks display over the lake.
A wonderful event, even in the most difficult times, was held safely and successfully once again – and $170,000 was raised!
